Elder Brain Patron Warlock & Adventure Hook
A Mind-Flayer Inspired Warlock Subclass for D&D 5e
Some minds do not simply study forbidden knowledge. They become vessels for it.
The Elder Brain Patron is a warlock subclass for Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition that allows characters to serve the vast psychic intelligence of an Elder Brain. Through this pact, warlocks gain unsettling psionic powers, manipulate thoughts, and extend the reach of their aberrant master into the world above.
This subclass blends cosmic horror, psychic manipulation, and classic illithid themes, creating a character option that feels perfectly at home in campaigns involving mind flayers, aberrations, or creeping conspiracies beneath the surface of civilization.
Whether used by players or Dungeon Masters, the Elder Brain Patron introduces the presence of something ancient, calculating, and patient.

A mobility-focused subclass that bends space and confuses enemies through misdirection and positioning.
Rangers of the Displacer Beast Conclave have learned to hunt like one of the most elusive predators in the multiverse. Through dangerous rituals, half-forgotten Feywild techniques, and long exposure to the strange distortions these predators leave in their wake, such rangers awaken a similar displacement within their own bodies. Reality ripples around them, causing their position to blur and echo.
In battle, a ranger of this conclave seems to exist in two places at once—striking from angles that should be impossible while enemies swing helplessly at where the ranger used to be. Enemies find themselves striking phantoms. Arrows miss targets that should have been easy shots. And in the chaos of battle, the ranger appears to move like a living mirage — blades flashing from angles that should be impossible.
- A full Subclass for Rangers who want be a "Dodge Tank"
- A complete Feywild hunt encounter
- A modular tracking system for running moving encounters
- The Moon Rhino, a displacement-based boss creature
- A chaotic pixie chorus that interferes unpredictably
- A rival hunter, A Displacer Beast Conclave Ranger Thalen, who competes with the party for the kill
- A final scramble for the killing blow
